Horn Restoration offers a thorough and detailed process from start to finish with all our projects. Continue on to learn about our design to build process.
1. Design and Layout
Once clients have determined to move forward with the bid, there are a few things that will take place.
Clients will meet with our architect to create a detailed scope of work and drawings. These drawings will be the guide for the rest of the project to determine how we will move forward through selections, permitting, and execution.
Additionally, clients will be set up with their digital project folder that will be used through out the project to track everything from financials to vision boards.
2. Selections
Most of us have an idea about what we want our homes to feel like. Few of us know how to bring that vision into reality. The selection process helps ensure everything from the flooring, paint colors, cabinets, etc. fit into a seamless design.
We have the resources to help you as much or as little as you need to feel confident your basement project will look exactly like you plan.
Professional Support for the Selection Process
Core Projects
Design Services Include - Paint colors, flooring selections, and options. Guidance may be provided on vanity selections, stain colors, hardware finish, door and baseboard styles, and other standard room features.
Costs - $550 - Anything beyond standard room features will be billed at $50/hr.
Core Projects + Baths
Design Services Include - Paint colors, flooring selections, and options. Guidance may be provided on vanity selections, stain colors, hardware finish, door and baseboard styles, and other standard room features.
Bathroom selections include the shower floor, shower walls, layout of hardware, and fixtures.
Costs - $650 - Anything beyond standard room features will be billed at $50/hr.
Custom Projects
Full service design through out the basement project. The design team works through the selection process starting at $700 plus $50/hr past 10 hours.
3. Demo, Waterproofing, and Egress
This stage can vary a little depending on whether or not the space has been finished before. Our approach creates time and space to properly address foundation and water issues in the basement to ensure your project will stand the test of time.
4. Build & Finish
Now is the time to execute all the planning. From electric, plumbing, and drywall we have built a top notch team of professionals who value high quality work and customer satisfaction.
